Paam Laafi's Regular Volunteers

We would like to dedicate this page to our Regular Volunteers. It is almost impossible to mention everyone who helped over the years but we would like to present some of them to you who are currently regularly involved in our activities.

  • Liesbeth, Lydia, Jiska and Phebe Van Dingenen, have been helping in many mobile clinics doing urine tests, walking children around, measuring and weighing them and doing their eye tests.
  • Sankare Souleyman, Nutritionist from trade helps us in different capacities. He is a great help during the mobile clinics at the primary schools in organizing and practical help during the visits. He also helps out at our lab and is a part of the Paillotte committee.
  • Bazie Valerie, a specialist in Biomolecular Science and lab tech, helps us setting up our medical laboratory.
  • Desire Ilboudo, a very experienced local labtechnician and biologist helps us setting up our medical laboratory.
  • Willi Harouna is our radio-imaging technician. He runs our mobile digital radiology unit.
  • Machteld Van den Bulcke, a Belgian nurse is a great help during our many mobile clinics and the regular medical check ups at the hospital
  • Ashli Roussel is an American nurse and preparing for a long term service in Dano, Burkina Faso. She is doing French language training in Ouagadougou and getting acquainted with the French medical terminology and illnesses and as such a big help in the meanwhile to our programs.
  • Melissa Black is an American nurse, living with her family in Burkina and volunteers at Paam Laafi in our different programs.
  • Dr. Zongo Issouf is a medical doctor, specializing in Radiology
